I had to post this somewhere

My best friend from home Carolann never fails to crack me up.

Carolann(8:35:48 PM):oh yea, i watched the september issue today and the weird looking red head reminded me of you ....not with her looks but i guess with what you like to do.

I've never before been compared to the likes of Grace Coddington and only Carolann could say something SO flattering ... and still make it sound unappealing.

We're so nice

So Seika and I both thought to write each other goodbye cards for the sole purpoes of making the other person cry. Like CRY. Bawl. Whatever. Oh yeah and because we love each other. I thought I'd share this because I thought it was kinda funny.

sent at about 3:30 via BBM

Seika: omg your card f'd me up dude
me: AHAHAHAH I'm actually loling right now
Seika: wow
...
Seika: my mom won't let me drive until I calm down

Mission Accomplished

edit: Apparently Mike and I are of the same mind because shortly thereafter via FB chat

Mike: I hope my fb status makes Seika cry
me: LOL

peace and buhlessings

Feeling weird and nostalgic

It's finally SINK-ing (ahahha) in :(

If SINK came together and somehow made a baby, that baby would be Jordan. Also apparently he's some kind of deity because there's just smoke... for no reason.

It's been a great ride. See ya'll on the flip side.

Counting down the days

05/27: Mikes moves out of his apartment.
05/28: Spending the entire day with Nancy, eating and finishing Battlestar Galactica Season 1.
05/29: No idea...
05/30: Moving out of Berkeley, saying goodbye to Nancy and Mike

Depending on how things work out in July, I will either be moving to New York mid-July or mid-August. It's been my dream to live in New York since I was 17 and now, I am finally doing it. (Albeit, I wanted to be a musical theater actor back then. LOL.) Life is crazy man...

And then I graduated...

Star Meats

Apparently the bad blogger in me has found new lows. My boyfriend was the one who suggested we try Star Meats on Claremont AND that I bring my camera. I begrudgingly agreed and now I'm really glad I did! Star Meats is a small deli in Berkeley's bougie area and although it looks a little run down the quality of the food is amazing. The bread was chewy, the mozarella was fresh, and the meat, oh don't get me started on the meat.

A Goodfella for me: Genoa Salami, Hot Coppa, Fresh Salami, Aragula, Sun dried tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, olive oil

And The Classic for Kevin: Ham, Salami, Hot Coppa, Provolone, Lettuce, Onion, Tomato, Redwine Vinegar

I don't care what anyone says. I like Pepsi.

Funny story: I was taking pictures in front of someone's house because the flowers were so pretty when the homeowner shows up right behind me and scares the beegeezus out of me. I apologized for being on her property and told her she had some great flowers. She proceeded to tell me everything there is to know about her flowers including the countries they originated from. I love white people sometimes.

My favorite socks. :)

Goals for the summer

Here is a list of a few goals I have for myself this summer. All to commence after Seika leaves of course, we still have Battlestar Galactica to wrap up!

1. Get money, get paid. Not having a job these past 7 months has seriously been cramping my style but hopefully I'll be able to scrounge a few dollas to spend on clothes and save a bit for my semester abroad in France.

2. Do the yoga video/ stretching video Kevin downloaded for me. Yeah.. err I'll keep you guys posted on this one. Those who know me well know that I take the elevator up .. AND down in my apartment building. I'm on the second floor. Once my mom bought me a year gym membership to Bally's, I don't know why. I went three times.

3. Read!!! I don't read anymore and it's seriously pathetic. It's ironic that my terrible vision stems from my childhood habits of reading at night under the covers with a flashlight trying not to get caught by my mother. Now most people think I'm illiterate. Well, I'm not! I'm the most smartest person I already met.

4. Cook! I love cooking but due to my financial situation this past year I haven't really had a chance to cook much aside from pasta and ramen. Not that I'm complaining because I LOVE pasta and ramen but sometimes a girl needs some meat. I have a signed copy of Everyday Italian by Giada De Laurentiis and plan on trying out a few of her recipes. P.S. She's absolutely stunning in person.

5. Go to a concert. Kevin and I used to be so good about going to concerts at least once a semester or something like that. I haven't been to one since La Roux earlier this year and it was lame because her voice was toe up and she played a shorter set.

6. Fashion? I just realized none of my goals were fashion/career related so umm yeah... ponder about what I want to do with my life. Cool.

I think that's it for now. Maybe I'll add more as they come up.

Last finals week at Berkeley: Day 2 Mid Day

Day 2: I've been awake for about 50 hours. I am walking home after this and sleeping for possibly four to six hours and then returning to start my paper. My lips are beginning to blow up :T

Last finals week at Berkeley: Day 2

Day 2: Slept a total of three hours since yesterday. Awesome. Still feeling alright, but not looking it.

Last finals week at Berkeley: Day 1

I'm having the hardest finals week I've ever had during my time at Berkeley this semester, even though I have the least amount of finals and papers to do. I won't be sleeping very well for the next four to five days (depending if I get an extension or not), so I thought it might be fun to document my week. I think I'll upload a picture each day around 6am to show you guys how I'm doing.

It's only the first day, so although I'm really tired, I'm trying to enjoy the fact that this is possibly the best I'll feel the entire week. My arms feel numb, but I'm fine.

Day 1: Have not slept in 18 hours (with the exception of the hour long nap I took around 5am)
